The Wantage WI Charity Knitting Group was formed in 2012 under the supervision of Angela Bailey-Myers and Gillian Vale.
They usually meet on the first Monday of the month at 2.30pm and since 2012 the number of members has grown to 27. Their success means that instead of meeting in each other’s homes as they did originally, they now meet in a large room in St. Katharine’s House Care Home in Wantage. It is a very informal group of mixed ability and enthusiastic knitters, and if you would be interested in joining them to knit for one of the worthy causes listed below, please e-mail Angela Bailey-Myers at [email protected] |
